I believe I made a U-turn on red at an intersession with red-light cameras. I'm not quiet sure abt this but do you think that the red-light camera can catch my violation? Or it's just supposed to catch red-light runner (like crossing straight by the intersession)
The intersession is Harbor and Westminster, Garden Grove, CA. Thanks

Even if they could catch it, it would not matter, because the only offense which California law permits to be prosecuted based upon a picture is running a red light.

in some places you "can" make a "u turn" at an intersection if it's allowed and the center cement section allows you to do that.
Here we do have cameras but they are for the right turn lanes (you can turn right on red BUT only after you stop first) and the camera is also used for going thru the light at the intersection.
Since our cameras catch both I don't see why in your area they wouldn't catch an illegal U turn as well.

properly, i will inform you relating to the crimson easy cameras we've here. The digicam takes one photograph yet sends it in 2 varieties: a million) of your vehicle below the crimson easy; and b) a % up of your vehicle so which you notice your tag and be attentive to it is your vehicle. you will desire to be below the crimson easy, no longer yellow. besides the undeniable fact that, no person takes the prospect because of the fact the yellow easy could be short so as quickly because it is going yellow...they are going to slam on breaks. additionally, it somewhat is at a hectic interesection the place specially circumstances the site visitors into the mall can lower back up. That teaches people who won't be in a position to utterly go the intersection to stay in the back of the "end" line at their easy till they might get completely in the time of. this is using the fact in the event that they bypass out into the intersection while it somewhat is green yet they take a seat interior the process the intersection caught in site visitors and it turns yellow and then crimson ... they get a value tag. Wow...I typed lots approximately something I care little or no approximately. i think of i'm going to bypass eat an apple and take a seat exterior for a mutually as.

Yes. If you went into the intersection while the light was red for whatever reason the camera will catch it.

some cameras are constantly rolling while others take a pic every few seconds, either way it was most likely caught, though might not be pressed because its a "red light camera" only supposed ot catch red light goers
