Nope. When you are asked in a job application form you can answer no to 'Do you have any criminal convictions' for motoring offences that don't result in instant disqualification or a sentance (basically if you got 3 or 6 points for running a red light ot speeding then you are fine). Same goes for Visa applications. This is in the UK though, don't know about anywhere else.

Generally no, but it depends on what the points were for, speeding, red lights, defectove tyres and most ticket offences upto 3 points are no criminal conviction, even driving without due care & attention is not a criminal conviction, just driving matters. However if you are convictied of drink or drug driving, or causing death by dangerous or careless driving then there is a criminal conviction also which will result in a criminal record creation as well a disqualification, possibly jail and points on you licence

no, its not a criminal conviction ( points on your driving licence) for jumping a red traffic light or doing 40 in a 30mph zone.

Causing Death by dangerous driving and similiar offences will cause you problems

endorsements on your licence do not count towards criminal convictions, however dependant on what type of job you are going for you may be as well to declare them, its nothing to be ashamed of most of us have points on our licence, besides, employers would sooner you be upfront about these things.

Yes - normally you gain points via an appearance at court and subsequent award of appropriate penalty. Fixed penalty is exactly what it says and carries equal weight with those done via a court.

No, it's a summary offence, though no doubt there are those in government would like to change that.
