Question:
Why do cops feel the need to park their car near the "EMERGENCY" entrance at the hospital?

Like that's where paramedics park........ where they bring in people who are need of help ASAP... not where cops bring in drunks and drugs users in need to a blood test..... take them to a lab or better yet park your car away from the "EMERGENCY" enterance and walk though the front door like a normal person... dont block the real HEROS and people who are facing life or death.

The Police park there so they can rescue your "real heros". Your "real heros" call the Police to protect them. You'll usually find your "real heros" waiting down the road for the all clear signal while the Police take care of the bad guys and make sure the "heros" don't get hurt.

Next time you call for Police backup, you might want to keep in mind your statements here. If it wasn't for the Police protecting your sorry *** on the streets you might not be around to type such crap.

This is an old post so I bet no one will read this, but seriously grow up.. #1 there is a difference between the emergency entrance and the ambulance entrance... I work in a hospital and frequently end up working in the emergency department. #2 Police are permitted to use the ambulance entrance if they need to.. Like in a situation where a person is mentally ill and it was unsafe for the EMTs to pick that person up. Guess who picks them up!? The police! And it's also unsafe for them to bring that mentally ill person into the waiting area with a bunch of people waiting.. They have to put then directly into a room to keep people like YOU safe. #3 Frankly you should not even asked dumb questions like this, because cops work really hard to keep people safe and it's people like you that think they know what's right for cops to do and end up getting tased for butting in where you're not welcome.

Police officers ARE real heroes, and they face life and death situations every single day to keep you safe. Maybe you should go park in the emergency lane at the hospital, because you need help ASAP.

"Real Heroes" Well we know where you are coming from don't we?

Answer: Because they can. You own question says "near" the emergency entrance, not at the emergency entrance.

You clearly have a problem with the police being the police.

If you are a concern citizen who cares for the welfare of the people in the hospitals then why not report the police car by taking the photo through your cellphone and send it to the media or to the police precinct chief of police to remind them that the EMERGENCY entrance of the hospitals should be reserve for emergency purpose only and not a parking lot for policemen. That way you are helping your community for the greater good.

The emergency entrance that you are thinking of is for people like you who go there when they have a bellyache or their finger hurts.... The ambulances enter through the back or side(depends on the hospitals building design) cops are not there nor are people with bellyaches.

I'm sure if anyone who worked at the hospital were inconvenienced the hospital administration would put a stop to it. Are you sure it's your business?
