I was walking my dog up to sonic to grab a burger when I noticed a Hispanic man approaching carrying many plastic bags full of god knows what and an arm load of clothes. So many clothes they were falling from his hands, picture someone carrying their laundry in both arms. He looked kind of shady, he was talking to himself and twitching. So I swerved and gave up the sidewalk to him, my dog did not seem to like him. I turned to see where he was going with all that junk (the clothes looked dirty and torn, garbage pretty much). He walked into a townhouse that was under construction, this particular townhouse had clothes and pillows covering the windows, the other complete townhouses did not have this of course. Also there was a clear sign that said NO TRESPASSING! So I made a mental note of the address and called my local police department. They took the address and time I saw him as well as his description. Just wondering what will happen? The man clearly is living there (as I have seen the clothes covering the window for weeks now but never put it together). What will happen? What exactly will police do? I am just curious, I believe I did the right thing though.

You can report it but police will not put this at the top of the list

Keep reporting it Eventually they will act on it

Good Luck

Keep calling the police. Sometimes (though not very often) they have other things to do like arrest bank robbers, pull over speeders, break up domestic fights, etc. But if they have a spare moment, they will investigate a trespasser. But since you said this guy is hispanic, he's probably illegal so nothing will happen to him.
