can anybody tell me how to find someones release date if they are in a private prison?

i've tried inmate locator and i can't find anything about release dates i'm thinking maybe because its a private prison..help please!

I don't think pre-release dates are public record. If they have already been released, that may show up on some inmate sites. Or that may be the reason you can't find your inmate. You'll have to ask the inmate. Release dates are given to victims and families of violent crimes.
Private prisons are still state prisons - they are just manned by civilian employees who get their paychecks from the company that has the contract to run the prison, not the state coffers.

Even private prisons are controlled by the department of corrections (DOC) from the state that sent him.
When someone is sent to prison the judge turns them over to DOC. DOC is responsible for him. If they send him to an out fo state or private person they still should have him in their accessible records.
Are you sure that someone is not lying to you about why they are not returning home? Happens often to all kinds of people.
