I was talking to my mother today and she said the man that took the wee girl from her bath got found guilty. I hadn't heard the story, it happened last year.

Anyway, this man took a 6yr old from her bath, raped her twice and threw her in a back alley in December 27th, She was found shivvering crying naked and scared.

I am so appauled with the sick people out there. what would make them do such horrible things. Poor little girl she will be mentally scarred, all for him.

People like this should be locked up in a cell with nothing but a toilet. Made sleep on the floor, and they should throw away the key.

Sorry if im ranting on, but as a mother, its something its like a nightmare, thinking my child may not be safe even in her own home.

Beast.

here is the full story if anyone want to read. :o(

This happened pretty close to where I live, it is sad to think that you and your children are not safe in your own home and that you have to have your doors locked at all times. The truth of the matter is that is the way of the world these days. I am obsessive about making sure the doors are always locked, I guess I always found these stories sick before I had my child, but everything changes when you have a child including how you feel about stories like this. My little girl was 6 when this story happened, I cant imagine what the family must have gone through, my heart goes out to them. Stay safe and best wishes to you and your family xx

I completely agree with you. What a shame one or two small minded people think that hearing it once is enough. Every time the mother and father and possible siblings of that child close their eyes it will be all they can see. What is even worse is that the being that did this awful thing to this child is a repeat offender. He had already been convicted of a similar crime against a child, served his sentence and then released. The Criminal Justice System is shot to pieces in this country. These people should never be released. Raping children is NOT an illness, it's a sexual orientation. It is time this was stopped and dealt with in a way that they could not re-offend. If that means never seeing the light of day again then I for one, as a tax payer are more than happy to never give them the opportunity to ever see the light of day outside of an institution again.

These sick b a s t a r d s should be taken out of society altogether.Look how often these guys have offended time and time again, they are protected for their own safety when living in the community but what about the duty of care we owe to our children,a paedophile can be living next door and we are not allowed to know there is a known child abuser beside us-the whole system is ridiculous. Then when they are put into jail they are treated like lords and kept away from the ordinary decent criminals(like murderers)who would quite rightly deal with them. They should at the very least be castrated but this still does not take away their danger to children because my fear would be that they would still hurt children because they would in their own sick mind associate children with having them castrated and of course blame them rather than accept their own guilt.

For me they need locked away for the rest of their life (OLD FASHIONED HARD LABOUR, NO PERKS) with no parole and no possibility of release, they give up their right to life when they perpetrate a crime against a child.

With this case as an example, that child could have died the way he left her,so 12 years is not enough anyway.

It just makes me so angry that society keeps protecting these monsters and making excuses for them-its time we had a zero tolerance policy towards those who commit crimes against children and indeed women and proper punishment !

I agree it is horrific.

Realistically though, due to the way the prison system works in this country he wont be kept in prison forever and will eventually be back on the streets.

So locking him up with only a toilet will do nothing to rehabilitate him. I would rather his time in prison was spent constructively so that when he is released he doesn't do the same again.

Although I understand he had been convicted before so obviously his previous attempts at rehabilitation weren't successful.

There should be a way to ensure that no child is endangered by people like him again.

SO If you feel that strongly maybe campaign for the prison system to be reformed as it obviously isn't working!

Hey, steady on girl... I am greatly offended by the word beast in this context.

There are way better adjectives to describe this guy, but most obscene.

I say let the punishment fit the crime "OK bit old testament" but what did you expect. Think the criminal should be sentenced to five minutes in a locked room with the victims relatives.

This type of crime is not that common, fear of crime borders on paranoia. I'm not against paranoia, as such, its great when it leads to mas hysteria.

Rest assured I reserve a special hot poker and spiky fork for these dammed souls.

I'm sorry but do you know what really p*SSES ME OFF is the fact that these animals are often out on licence, parol or released after committing the same crime previously. When are the do gooders in the penal system going to stop being so Fing soft and stop letting these morons bullsh*t them and letting them out to commit crime after crime after crime against the kids of this country. There is a story in the paper today about a known pedo who uses a gym attached to a school. the council dont want to stop him because it may infringe HIS human rights. but when he attacks one of these kids they will make all the right noises wont they. That young kids parents should sue the **** off the do gooding muppet and the service which decided that this moron was not a danger to the public. when it hits em where it hurts in their pockets they may start to take notice and do something sensible cos they obviously couldn't give a sh*t at present. how's that for ranting!!!!!!!

Yes it is very sad that any one should be subjected to such utter hell, but if the truth be known the person who committed this filthy act will in the news look as if he is going to jail for a very long time, but he will get early release from jail, only to have the chance of re offending, the law is not in place to protect us from this, just a ploy to be seen to be-doing it

What is this world coming to? Or rather, its all going to hell! Bring back the death penalty! This little girl could not defend herself in anyway. Even an adult might have had a hard time defending themselves, but a child? I've got goose bumps just thinking about all the bad stuff we hear about these days. That guy in America, Jeffrey Dalmer, his victims families clubbed together and got him killed in prison. The lifer's family were financially taken care of! As far as the families were concerned why should he continue to breathe when the relatives were dead. Makes you think!

If its any help to you, once in jail other inmates dont like those kind of people either. They tend to find life even worse then a super major bad nightmare from the time word gets around they hurt a kid.So the sicko will deffinately been in for more than what he bargined on.

Its beyond belief that this could happen in the way it did. The animal should be treated as such, make him suffer for the rest of his life.

That poor girl, only 6 and she was brave enough to give evidence, good for her.

Take away the complete rights of the offender, like he took the littles girls rights away from her when he entered there bathroom and put him in a cage for 1 hour with the childs family.

It's distressing for sure. All we can hope is that the little girls grows up with a strong sense of life and self, and that the bastard who did this does some hard time. My understanding is that other hardcore inmates don't think much of this type of guy, so he should get his when the time comes.

I don't have kids myself but I was shocked and disgusted by this event.

There is a part of me which is afraid to ever have kids in case something like this happens to them because I don't think I could cope with it.

I suppose this srt of thing is very rare indeed but really should NEVER happen at all.

i totally agree with you, they are scum,i dont believe in the death penalty as thats the easy way out,let them suffer with nothing but 4 walls to keep them company,we're not harsh enough, prison is supposed to be a punnishment, not a ymca where men can go and meet other men they can discuss there crimes with,it only breeds further crime, our country needs tougher laws.

there is only one thing good enough for him. I have worked as a mental health nurse for a number of years and the only thing that is commen in all of them is that they all chose to do it because they wanted to see what is was like to do it. They are all deranged and strange. as you can guess i have changed my profession and now work in a prison for youth offenders as you can understand that most of the kids today do Crime because they can .. what a deranged world we live in. It is not nice.
2006-10-21 15:35:00 UTC
Where is the sympathy for this poor misguided man? I would gladly post his bail and have him released in my custody. Then I would take him home and give him a place to sleep.

A PERMANENT RESTING PLACE.

I have enough land I think I could find the perfect spot.

There are some very evil people out there, you could be sat or stood next to one and you wouldn't even know. It gives me cold shivers thinking about how bad some people are to do such evil things.
2006-10-21 15:31:39 UTC
i agree totally we do everything we can to protect our kids and you think there safe in there own home it frightens me to death. my kids are 10 and 5 and im too scared to let them out of my sight but on the other hand you've got to let them go a bit but with the world how it is today it sickens me.i could rant about this all night but i wont bore you !

he raped someone else 4 years ago he has been out of jail for 2 years and the sad thing is that if hes released he will no doubt do it again....... what chance do kids have ? i think the law needs to change they have to protect the kids not let perverts have access to them

this is a terrible case but what i cant understand is why didnt the police have dna evidence, after the ordeal this child went through surely if this monster had done this before they should have had dna samples instead of having to rely on the likes of footprints .

Yes, I think heartbreaking is the word. It makes us all feel sick inside. But should society take revenge on someone who is obviously sick? Actually, yes, I think we should!
2006-10-21 15:28:14 UTC
I understand your outrage. I think this guy should be locked up with a 300-pound guy named Bubba so he can see how it feels.

Can't that guy have an "accident" and fall down the stairs several hundred times?

thanks for the info...but after hearing it on the news this week i think it was enough.. why would anyone want to go reading it again. I think basic details are enough..why do people need to know the full story on something as bad as that!!
