Basically a few friends and I are purchasing a few Flash Bang grenades, we intend to be extremely stupid and set one off whilst standing in the same room as it. I'm wondering what's going to happen and possible risks, anyone experienced a Flash Bang Grenade?

TV shows actually play them up quite a bit, so you will be disappointed. I would recommend setting off three at once in as small a room as possible to get the full effect.

The DESCRIPTION flash bang is EXACTLY what happens. There is little explosive force. The grenade is designed to disorient people by producing a bright flash of light to temporarily blind the subjects and a load noise to temporarily render them deaf. The primary risk is that the effects may not be temporary.

Those used by military are more powerful than law enforcement, which are more powerful than the ones you can buy over the counter in some states. The flash can start a fire, can also damage retina or burn skin. The bang can damage hearing and cause flying projectiles such as shards of glass.

A flash bang grenade will cause temporary blindness and disorientation.

Well you will be blinded and most likely deaf for some amount of time... also you are an idiot. But have fun.

Please tell me where you intend to acquire them...

They are heavily restricted as explosive devices in the US.

As to what will happen... I submit... possibly a FLASH and a BANG?

You will be blind & deaf if you live; you may also burn down the structure.

Have fun.

You continue to fire blindly in your Counter-Strike game.
