If your condo is on a public street and you live in a city, you definately need to purchase a sticker showing that the owner of the car lives in that parking zone. Almost every american city uses a system like this. Then the stickerless car that forced you to double park will get the ticket.

Building Securrity Can and Will ticket you if they own the area where you got the ticket and posted some rule about parking in that area or if it is a designated "valet zone." Typically the city gives building management the authority to ticket people in city's that do not have there own parking authority (ie not Philly or Pittsburgh).

You are always playing russian roulette when you double park. It's an inconsiderate move, dude.

Not if you weren't double parking. Go to court and say your car was perfectly legal until that other car zoomed up and stopped between you and the curb, but the BSO tagged you instead of checking out how that ghost car got there. I'm here to help. And I'm behind you on this one 50%. :)

I am not sure what a BSO is but you can be cited if your condo is on a public street or if your city has an ordinance that allows for enforcement of traffic laws on posted private property.
