having had my house raided by the local swat team for Meth...but no they found nothing and no one went to jail or was even charged later. The only reason they would raid, Find nothing and take someone to jail is if they had an arrest warant for someone there . Other then that all they do is make you sign a paper saying the search warrent was served and that they didnt take anything out of your home. IN my case they tryed to tell me I had to meet with them at the police station the next day ...I never went and nothing ever happend . On another note its always nice to have a shotgun shoved in your face cause you answerd the door....fun stuff haha not really dont be dumb and dont get raided and if you have anything at your house I suggest you move it off location to a place only you know about.

If they have a reason to suspect they'll find something that's what gives them the justification to get a warrant to search the property. Obviously if they find nothing to make an arrest for, there will be no arrest, and subsequently they have lost the credibility it took to get the warrant in the first place.

That is odd, did they get the wrong address?

I am clueless as to this one, but a search warrant does not mean you will be arrested. Law enforcement must be careful with these types of raids, do it to many times to one person and your office will be served with a restraining order

It depends why they raided your house. In order to raid your house assuming this is in the US they need a warrant which specifies what they are looking for or expect to find. If they don't find anything at your house then no one will likely be arrested. For example if they raid your house to look for drugs or weapons and find neither they you wont be arrested.

If they have an arrest warrant, and they find you, you're getting arrested.

If they have a search warrant, and they don't find what is listed in the warrant, they can't do anything about it.
