Yes it does. The same thing happened to a friend of mine and the police didn't know who he was either. Amazing! You would think that in order to be a police officer a person would be required to know who everyone was. I suppose that's why they refer to it as "identification cards".

Ya think?

By the way. Who is Bob Dylan? Is he a friend of yours?

Bob Dylan was just wandering around without an ID. I am not sure my children would recognize him either and they certainly know who he is and his music. It was also noted that all was well and once he was "vouched" for by the music people at the stadium all was well.

Both police officers behaved in a professional and polite manner, as did Mr. Dylan. THAT is what should be commented on, not that he was not recognized.

I should imagine that Mr. Dylan rather enjoyed being anonymous, don't you?

Perhaps, Mr. Dylan will give us a new song about this experience.

Yep, those 2 officer needs some lecturing or disciplining. How on earth do you not know who Bob Dylan is??? It's like not knowing what a computer is! I'm not a fan of Bob Dylan but com on..... Everyone knows he's a legend just like Beatles, Elvis, Michael Jackson, and etc. Young people these days are so busy playing video games, clubbing, watching nonsenses on MTV, VH1, and E! that they don't even know who the true musical legends are. Something has got to change man! And I mean better education and knowledge.

Is there a point to this shouting? He was a complete unknown by these two young officers. It sounds like they did exactly what they were suppose to do. What is the problem?

On a different note. Did you notice Mr. Dylan handled himself well? No screaming, not accusing the police of racial profiling, not asking "do you know who I am?" He simply did as he was asked like any normal person would do.

Perhaps Prof. Gates could learn how to deal with the police from Mr. Dylan.

So what's your point? You can't just wander around with no ID. Unlikely that anyone under 40 would have a clue who Dylan is. Heck, I haven't seen the guy in a while. I might not recognize him either.
