If you are arrested on friday night how soon can you see a judge and be released?

a friend of mine got arrested on friday night for fighting at a bar, he wasnt 21, in general, how soon could he be released?

Some jails have a group of people that get processed in and view a video explaining to them what their rights are and when they will go in front of the judge, not usually until the following Monday. You ask for a ROR (release on recognicense, i know i didnt spell that right lol). Anyway the police can release you and you have to report back monday to see a judge.

If you are drunk or you did something very violent they can keep you all weekend.
