When you get arrested, first you have to get booked in, fingerprinted, ID'd. Some jails have a group of people that get processed in and view a video explaining to them what their rights are and when they will go in front of the judge, not usually until the following Monday. Getting released is another thing, depends if anyone was hurt and or is pressing charges. Once the judge rules on his case, he will more than likely be able to post Bond (make bail) this is usually 10% of what the fine the judge imposed to him or if the judge needs to gather more information about the case, he will sit in jail until the next hearing

It depends on what he was arrested for. According to your question your Friend may have broken 4 different laws.

First your friend might be charged with Assault & Battery for fighting.

Secound scince he was a minor at a bar he might get hit with that especialy if he was in posesion of a fake ID.

Thierd if he was drinking even 1 beer he could get hit with underage drinking.

If the cops are cool they may release hime after a few hours while he soberes up if not MONDAY

You ask for a ROR (release on recognicense, i know i didnt spell that right lol). Anyway the police can release you and you have to report back monday to see a judge.

If you are drunk or you did something very violent they can keep you all weekend.

It depends on your county and state but most magistrates will come in at least once on a Saturday or Sunday and bail can be posted at that time so your friend can be out by Saturday evening.

Depends, is Monday a holiday?

Some places have weekend judges, so every area is different.
