Are my rights being violated?

I filled my income tax return on January 2010. After waiting for my refund patiently I realized that I filled it with the incorrect ssn; I called them and they told me that there was no problem with that they filled out a form and they told me I was supposed to get a call from the mixed I identity department and my refund 15 days after that.

I waited and nothing happened so I called them back and they told me I had to wait for a 30 days window before I could submit another change request to the mix I identity department. The 30 days went by and nothing happened I have called them several times and they have no idea whats going on.
so to make it easy
They received the taxes doc on Feb 16
I filled out the first request on March 26
I filled out the 2nd request on May 26
I have not received any call from them.

The second time I called they game me a number to call where they were supposed to help me out, the tax advocacy hot line. The guy first told me I had to wait that there was nothing he could do. So I told him that that was my money that I pay taxes every time I get pay that I was not going to be like this anymore then he assigned me a lawyer.

The lawyer called me a week before he was going on vacation on June 17 and told me I had to fax some docs to him and that he was going to call me as soon as he get them, which I did the same day. I have called him several times and left him msges and he does not answer.

Please Are my rights being violated in any way I need some good lawyer advice. I am currently unemployed I need that money.
